The old O’Brien Store has stood silent for decades… but when night falls, whispers return to its creaking walls. Locals say the murdered shopkeeper still guards his hidden fortune - and anyone who dares disturb it will join him in eternal unrest.
As elite time-traveling detectives, you and your team must enter O’Brien’s abandoned shop, decipher chilling clues, and uncover the truth behind his untimely death before the spirits claim their next victim.

An unsettling re-imagining of the Jackpot in the Miners Cottage for Halloween!
A miner in Skippers Canyon struck gold on the Shotover River - the richest river of gold in the world. But soon after discovering the largest gold nugget in Queenstown’s history, he was found dead under mysterious circumstances. His dying words spoke of an even greater secret: the “Mother Lode”, the legendary source of all the gold in the river.
Now, as fearless time-traveling detectives, it’s your mission to enter the miner’s haunted Gold Rush Cottage, unravel the
mystery, and face the restless spirit that guards his treasure.
Can you uncover the miner’s secret, find the lost nugget, and escape with your lives - or will you become the next ghost of the Gold Rush in Dead Man’s Jackpot?

These games were all built from scratch by our talented creative team, who have used technology in clever ways to make your game experience more enjoyable! Whilst our themes remain true to Queenstown in the 1860s, beneath the surface the design is much more 21st century which we hope adds an extra level of fun and mystery to the experience!
INTEGRATED MECHANICS
Each game here at Escape Quest has its own unique narrative, along with its own order of play for a successful escape. We don’t want to give too much away, but appearances aren’t everything and some objects and features of the room may not always be what they seem. We want this experience to be both visually and mentally stimulating so in some cases, discovering or accessing a puzzle could be just as engaging as trying to solve it!
